Today I announced $4M in targeted enrolment funding to create 400 spaces in high-demand programs for Northeastern Alberta. Funding will go to expand capacity in seven programs at Keyano College , Portage College and Lakeland College Canada .
Students will see expanded capacity in Practical Nursing, Primary Care Paramedic, Health Care Aide and Animal Health Technology as early as this Fall. This investment is part of the largest targeted enrolment expansion in Alberta history that will create nearly 10,000 additional post-secondary spaces.
